Queen Afua brought a "Weekend of Wellness" to Los Angeles in a major way. Her three day visit, along with the City of Wellness Mayor and Master Vegan Chef Ali The Great, was transforming to say the least. The first day was her book signing and lecture covering the City of Wellness principles and was also to introduce her newest released book Overcoming an Angry Vagina: The Journey, The Stories and the Guide to Womb Wellness. This weekend was not only for the ladies but the men showed up and was transformed as well. The second day was the Transformation Day Retreat where participants was guided through the importance of cleansing the body temple, given tonics and those with pain had Queen Afua's amazing clay applied to those areas and witnessed its incredible healing power! The third day rounded out the experience with the Nutrition Kitchen Workshop. Queen Afua, and Master Vegan Chef Ali The Great, gave an amazing presentation on food preparation for maximum nutrition. They served a delicious lunch proving to us that eating healthy can be tasty as well!
